Another beautiful day in the great Napa Valley. Sonoma is the home of B.R. Cohn Winery. John and Rachel chose the beautiful grounds to share there special day with friends and family.
The wonderful couple exchanged vows in the middle of a pristine vineyard. Simple and elegant….just like John and Rachel. After the ceremony the new couple and friends enjoyed some of the best that B. R Cohn has to offer. Cocktail hour was a great time to soak up the perfect weather and relax for a few minutes.
As the sun began to set, the entire wedding party made it’s way to the reception….where DJ Derik and the Riptide crew was waiting for the new couple. The dancefloor and elegant seating was awaiting them. As the guests were finding there seats…..the sounds of French Pop was filling the air. The bride was glowing as every bride should. With drinks in hand, seats were taken…..and it was time for dinner.
After dinner the champagne glasses were filled for the toasts. The Maid of honor and the 2 Best men gave wonderful speeches to bring laughter and sweetness to the mood. After the bridal party…you know Dad had a few words for the friends and family. We could all tell how proud and loving his heart was.
With the toasts done…..the cake was ready to be cut. The classic Moon River-Henry Mancini from BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S was the song of choice. A classic white cake with elegant piping was timeless in design. The couple gently fed a slice to each other with smiles on there faces. They were ready to get the party started.
The Hooper’s had there first dance as husband and wife to La Vie en Rose by Louis Armstrong. Timeless and a classic! The couple glided across the dance floor, under the stars. The selected gobo for the dance floor was a collage of hearts. To set the mood, the floor was washed with Blue and Purple. As the couple ended there first dance, Rachel invited her dad out for a special dance. She selected You Are My Sunshine by Bing Crosby, as her special song for her Dad.
With the special dances done…..it was Party Time! Dad showed them how to do it!
