Riptide Entertainment was out and about for another Sacramento wedding on Saturday the 22nd of March. It was a great day for Nichole and Michael, and all their friends and family. They wanted a very private and cozy reception. The couple exchanged vows the previous day in a private ceremony at the Placerville Court House. So, that left following day for nothing but fun and good times. This wedding reception brought me personal joy as well. I have been good friends with Nichole for over 20 years and we are so happy to see her happy. She and Mike are a good team to raise there 3 kids.
The reception was a cozy get together of the most important people in there lives. The Coker’s wanted to keep it that way to say Thank You to the people that matter in there lives. We were so honored to be part of there special day.
Nothing says wedding like Camouflage and Tractor Cake!! The cake was truly a big hit with the couple and the guests. Even the bride and groom on the cake, had a little mud (icing) on them. It was totally creative and cute.
Even the father of the groom got a cake…… It was his birthday! Dad got his personal size cake and even a special dance for he and his wife. You can see the surprise on his face in the pictures. It was a great way to start the party.
Not only did Dad get a cake….but my wife and I did too! This very same weekend was also my wife and my anniversary as well. 13 years! After the speeches and we did some dancing…the bride asks for the microphone for our buddy Daniel to make a speech. Well, they both surprised my wife and I with our very own private cake!!! My best buddy of 30 years almost brought me to tears with a very touching speech. It was awesome.
We provided DJ/MC services as well as lighting. Thanks you again for a fabulous day….and best of luck you guys!
