This past Saturday night was a night of celebration with Joslin’s Martial Arts of Roseville. They held their Awards banquet to celebrate the achievements of the students and instructors in 2013.
Joslin’s prides its self on being a family friendly center. That was apparent with all that attendees. Kids of all ages, and their families were ready for a night of good food and dancing. The room was a comfortable banquet room, upstairs from the main restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, creating a warm and comfortable setting.
After the dinners were enjoyed by all, it was awards time. Master Joslin was honoring all of the students and instructors that shined in 2013. Some very nice looking plaques were awarded to the students, such as Most Improved and Best Attitude. Smiles filled the room as each winner was presented there award. As a special surprise was when the Grand Master called to give his congratulations to the whole party.
After the awards portion, one of the instructors entertained the party with some stand up comedy! As laughter filled the room it was an easy transition into the dancing portion. On this night, the ladies got the party started…..filling the dance floor and dancing off dinner. The floor was full most of the night as the young adults and young kids danced to there requested tunes. It was a fun night……thanks to all that attended.
