Your wedding day is NOT the time to cut corners.  What should you look for in your wedding DJ?  Well, many things actually!   Experience, track record, attentiveness, and customer service are just a small list to start.  It isn’t the same thing, but would you bargain shop for a doctor or surgeon?  NO.   Yes, I know surgery and the DJ who plays music and effects your special day are NOT the same, but I think I made a point!?  The entertainer and coordinator of your wedding are such a big part of your wedding.   I’ve always preached that the Photographer and DJ are the 2 most important parts of the wedding.   Let me explain my point.   The DJ not only plays the music that sets the tone for you and your family/friends……we coordinate and help your day run as smoothly and low stress as possible.   This is to be one of the best days of your life…..to celebrate with friends and family.  If the DJ and entertainment is bad….you’ll for sure see it on the faces in the pictures that will have forever,  Right?  Why leave that risk to the guy that gave you “the best deal and cheapest price”……I see you smiling.   You want that peace of mind that your DJ/entertainer has you as there main focus and making your day……SPECIAL.  That is where the experience comes in.   Not only at the event, but with the preperation for your event.  Making sure to have back up plans for any situation that may rise up.

Next comes the track record.  Someone that has been has doing business the Right Way to go along with the  experience.   The best lesson I learned when i first started DJing was to …NEVER BURN A BRIDGE….aka…do people and customers right.  I’ve been lucky enough to treat my customers and employers right over the past 25 years.  I started in a little nightclub here in Sacramento called the El Dorado Saloon and that’s where I started my trek as a DJ.  I have always been happy to entertain and handle situations with class and honesty.  Treat people right and they will take care of you is a good way to look at it.

When selecting or checking out DJ’s…..make sure they have YOUR best interest at heart. It’s YOUR day!  That is the stance we take it here at Riptide.   We want to give you, your dream day/event.  A big part of that is the first impression when you talk to, or meet your DJ.  What does your “gut” tell you?  We pride on being friendly and willing to help make every event a success.

I guess you could say Customer Service is a big part of that as well!?  We take pride in planning our your wedding/event with you to make sure all the work is done ahead of time. That way, when your day is here….it’s PARTY TIME!  We went you to be able to relax and have a great time.  We pride on being available for our clients as much as possible….morning, noon, or night.
